The HIT technology gives the module a high efficiency (typically between 17-19%), this results in more watts per square metre than other similar sized monocrystalline modules.  Sanyo modules are also particularly well-suited where space is limited; this is because of their high efficiency and relatively small dimensions compared to other modules.

All Sanyo solar modules are manufactured in Japan to high safety standards and are fire, wind, rain and hail-proof.

Warranty
Sanyo provide a 5 year product and workmanship guarantee as well as a limited power output: During the first 10 years of operation, we guarantee 90% of the initial output, and thereafter and up to an operating life of 25 years, 80%.

The Sharp modules provided by JHS Solar Solutions are of two different types, monocrystalline (NU Range) and polycrystalline (ND Range).

Sharp solar photovoltaic modules are manufactured in Japan but assembled in the UK with high level quality and safety checks.   A Black Surface Field (BSF) structure improves cell conversion efficiency along with a reliable weatherproofing system and bi pass diodes to minimise power loss due to shading.

Warranty

Sharp provide a 5 year product guarantee and a 25 year power output guarantee (i.e. if the power output of the module drops to less than 90% of the minimum output specified in the datasheet – 90% over  10 years, 80% over 25 years – then repair, replacement or reimbursement will be made)

Warranty

Suntech provides a 5 year limited product and workmanship guarantee as well as a limited power output: during the first 5 years of operation they guarantee 95% of the nominal output, 90% of the nominal output after 12 years, 85% of the nominal output after 18 years and 80% of the nominal output after 25 years.

Yingli is the largest and most established solar PV manufacturer in China. JHS selected Yingli from all the Chinese manufacturers because they produce high quality solar panels, have high ethical and environmental standards and a good human rights record. The company’s commitment to quality, performance and reliability of their products is evidenced through their ISO9001 accreditation. The panels are manufactured using the highest quality materials available and every process, from wafer production to assembly of the cells into modules, takes place under one roof. The panels are transported with the utmost care and quality control checked at destination. The solar panels are polycrystalline and are set within a robust corrosion resistant aluminium frame and have been tested to withstand adverse wind and snow conditions.

Yingli provide a 5 year product warranty and a limited power warranty 10 years at 90% and 25 years at 80% compared against the minimum rated power output as specified in their data sheets.

Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (REC) was established in 1996 and has since grown rapidly, and is today one of the leading players in the solar energy industry with presence across the solar value chain. REC panels are manufactured in Norway.

Warranty

Limited Workmanship Product Warranty of 63 months (5 years 3 months) from date of installation, or 72 months (6 years) from date of manufacture, whichever period is shortest.  Limited power warranty 10 years at 90% and 25 years at 80% compared against the minimum rated power output as specified in their data sheets.

JHS uses three Solarcentury products: M185 H18 solar photovoltaic panels, C21e solar PV slates and C21e solar PV tiles to accommodate a range of roof types and styles.  Solarcentury is the UK’s largest independent solar manufacturer and supplier of solar photovoltaic products.

 The M185-H18 solar panel is a high quality monocrystalline module which has been manufactured as an all-black sleek looking module with an anodised frame to complement the module’s appearance.

Solar Century C21e – SOLAR PV SLATES AND SOLAR PV TILES:

For installations on a new property or one that is being re-roofed, C21e tiles and C21e slates come into their own. Both the tiles and slates are fitted like traditional roofing materials to the battens of the roof and no complex electrical or mechanical work is required on the roof which makes these two products a very attractive proposition.

Solar Century ENERGY ROOF

The Energy Roof is a fully integrated PV roof for agricultural and industrial buildings. It can be installed on most steel and timber frame roofs on new or existing buildings and is suitable for pitched roofs of between 10 and 34 degrees. The Energy Roof can also be installed on walkways, canopies and greenhouses. The Energy Roof consists of a framework into which a choice of panels, inverters, flashings, roof lights, gutters and ventilation options are fitted. JHS will develop the bespoke detailed design for your system.

5 years for all products and a 10 year performance guarantee for a power output of 90% and a 25 year performance guarantee for a power output of 80% against minimum power estimates in the data sheets.
